    Default The importance of soundtracks

Soundtracks are really important, above all in a film. Can you imagine if in a very important scene there was a song that is not appropriate for the moment. It can be really annoying.
And you think when you're with the person you love, and there is a house song like background...what a shame.

    What do you think?

    *sorry for my english...i'm italian!*

I agree 100 %! Some forgettable movies have amazing soundtracks and some great films have just the required mood music. The Music sets the mood in an almost soconscious way. As I made my degree in Communications Sciences, I can almost get the whole mood setting influence (if I don't get caught up in the plot).

A Soundtrack is almost as vital to a movia as the photography or the FX.

The soundtracks are almost more imporatant than the story! In the batman movies the action is awesome, but the dramatic emotions come from the music. The sound is what draws you to the edge of your seat.

Soundtrack undoubtedly one of the most important aspects of a movie. Not only does it convey and intensifies emotion, but can also fool our perception. Just look at Good Morning Vietnam. During one scene What a wonderful World plays while people die and chaos arises.

I like soundtracks which you can use afterwards as ringtons. Like 'Magneto' in the "X-Men: First Class". Love it!

Soundtracks are definitely an essential part of a movie. It's rather common that certain tracks of the movie stay in my mind for a long while, a tune that could be easily and instantly recognised when played or heard. For example, listening to one of the tracks of the hobbits bring a smile to my face.

It's not just for movies though, musicals and animations too are more wonderful to watch with memorable soundtracks.

Soundtracks are not only important for a movie but also to a tv show! I watch GIRLS on HBO and the song everytime the credits roll in is always ON POINT!
