The contest is scheduled to take place inTel Aviv, Israel, because last years winner Netta came from Israel.

first Semi-final Round is on May 14, 2019 (21:00 CET)
second Semi-final Round is on May 16, 2019 (21:00 CET)
and the Grand Final
is on May 18, 2019 (21:00 CET)

Same as Israel For a country to be eligible to take part in the Eurovision Song Contest, they must have a public broadcaster that is part of the European Broadcasting Union.
